On Friday, October 19, 2012, at the popular Palais Royale Ballroom, chocolate lovers will assemble to experience one of the most elegant and lavish events held in Toronto set to benefit Prostate and Breast Cancer Initiatives. Imagine walking into one of Toronto’s historic landmarks located on the waterfront, filled with the distinct aroma of chocolate emanating from every direction. The décor reflects the history of the original ballroom which overlooks Lake Ontario, accommodating up to 600 attendees. Enjoy the rich “chocolate” coloured décor and the cocoa ambiance, accompanied by a magnificent stage and dance floor.
Start off the evening with a visit to our Silent Auction gallery followed by chocolate tastings. The first to tempt your taste buds are savoury food stations, presented and catered by some of Toronto’s top chefs and restaurants. Here you will experience samplings of various savoury foods.
Once you have digested the savoury fare, treat yourself to decadent chocolate creations – from bars to truffles – available at several Chocolate Stations positioned throughout the venue.
Next, take a break and work off some of the calories by strolling over to the Silent Auction tables, followed by shuffling onto the dance floor. Cocoa Cabaret is the theme of this year’s Chocolate Ball and there will be no shortage of music for dancing. In between sets, prepare to be entertained by our signature floor shows, contests and prize draws.
If by this point you think you’ve experienced it all, think again. The night is far from over. If you have not yet had your fill of chocolate delights, visit our decadent dessert station – ready for you to indulge once more.
So come dressed and ready to celebrate an evening of Cabaret – powered by Chocolate.
Help make a significant difference by being part of this unique Toronto event set to benefit our Prostate and Breast Cancer Initiatives Fund.
