The Old Court House, Niagara-on-the-Lake

On Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Old Court House, chocolate lovers assembled to experience one of the most elegant and lavish chocolate events held in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario set to benefit Prostate and Breast Cancer Initiatives and Heart, Mind, and Soul Initiatives. Imagine the distinct aroma of chocolate emanating from every direction once you walk through the doors of the Old Courthouse, a historic building located on the main street of this destination town in the heart of wine country and just a few miles from Niagara Falls.

After 4 long years since the last big “Cocouture Fashion” event at the Eglinton Grand in Toronto, this long-awaited event featured entertainment by various performers representing the Regency/Victorian Period along with an interactive mash-up floor show and deejay..

The Chocolate Ball was held during the Toronto Chocolate Festival. These have been held in Toronto, Vaughan, and Hamilton, and now historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, raising funds for many charities along the way.

Taste buds were teased and tempted by our signature Chocolateria including the all-new MEGA Chocuterie Board consisting of sweet and savoury offerings presented and catered by some of Southern Ontario’s top chocolatiers, chocolate manufacturers, pastry chefs, and restaurants. Here guests experienced a variety sampling of chocolates, desserts and chocolate-infused savoury food.

Help make a difference by being part of this unique and historic event.

All attendees were encouraged to come dressed in period costumes in order to qualify for special prizes. Consider wearing the same outfit for Halloween four days before and wear it again at the Ball.

Ladies and Gentlemen came in period dress and were ready to present themselves to Queen Chocolata and her Royal Court to be crowned the Best of the Ball.

If you were not able to join us, this is what you missed.
